How did it go today?
The DBE Grade 1 English Term 1 plan explicitly starts with readiness work and integrates listening/speaking, phonics, reading, writing and handwriting. The DBE Life Skills plan allocates the opening weeks to readiness/perceptual development and then moves through Me, At School, Healthy Habits and Weather. MN now binds all 50 English Home Language Term 1 coordinates and 20 Life Skills Beginning Knowledge / Personal & Social Well-being coordinates to exact two-week source objects. Creative Arts and Physical Education now have original MN mapped learner activities for every registered Term 1 coordinate; exact X-marker matrix reconciliation remains pending, so those activities are not labelled exact-source extraction.
